Gillian loves to look down on the world.  This sweet, calm, senior is happy observing from a comfortable perch.  However, once you have touched her sweet, loving heart, she is all purrs and love.  Gillian would love to have a home to call her own, a place where she will finally know her human’s love is forever.

Foster Home Update:  Recently Gillian was able to spend to some time in a foster home.   After just a couple days, her foster home reports that she has started to enjoy wet food and is purring and rolling over for petting.  Currently her preferred spot is a shelf in the library but she is already moving around and showing her love bug personality.

Foster Update Day 5 for Gillian:   Day 5 in Gillian's first experience living in a home in 8+ years! She is now officially out and about. No more hiding for this girl! She has discovered the joy of sitting on a table under a window in the library and soaking in all the sights in the front yard. When I come in to visit with her, I am greeted with a little meow and purr. She promptly assumes "petting position" and will rub, purr, and wave her legs in delight while she gets petted. This lovely girl is happy to be petted as long as you want, almost like she is making up for lost time. Her sweet face seems to beam when she sees me. She uses the litter box faithfully and eats with gusto. This sweet girl is loving life and would make an absolute dream cat for someone looking for a quiet, calm love bug.

Foster Update:   Gillian went to visit the vet for a checkup and came out beautifully. She did have some wax in her ears and has done well with the twice daily medication her foster mom gives her to get that taken care of. In fact, as soon as the medication is done, Gillian is rolling over for some loving. She may not love having her ears messed with, but she loves the "treat" of petting that comes right after!"

Gillian has been nose to nose with all the other fur kids in the house and is calm and happy to see them, including a big Great Pyrennes mix! Sweet hearted Gillian sees everyone as her potential friend. What a love bug!

Foster Update:   Gillian has embraced the life of a pampered pet and loves every minute of it. She reminds you when it is time to eat and greets us every morning with a rub and purr. Gillian leaps and runs like a kitten, perhaps making up for all those years when she did not have a home. Nothing is slowing her down in her enjoyment of the good life.
