Tia and her kitty friends lost their happy home when their mom caretaker passed away.  Sheltering Hands stepped up and these lovely but very confused kitties were put in a foster home.  It took a while but Tia became comfortable with her foster caretaker.  She is still shy with people and in new situations and environments.  Tia is currently living in the Sheltering Hands facility.  She is an amazingly gentle kitty, just scared.  She would love to be adopted to a quiet home where they would be given enough time to trust so they can show their true personalities. 

Volunteer Update: If you are patient and give Tia a little time to get to know you, she will reward you with her love.  She especially loves sitting on the couch and getting brushed by one of the volunteers.

Since Sheltering Hands home delivers each adopted cat, all adopters must live in the Marion/Levy County area.  Thank you for understanding.
