Vegas is a sweet little girl rescued from a large cat colony that was not well cared for.  Fortunately Sheltering Hands was able to step in and give her a chance at a better life. Until recently Vegas was in a home with her brother (Dice) and 3 other kitties.  Currently she is living at Sheltering Hands.   She is outgoing and friendly but also independent.  She is often seen away from the other kitties entertaining herself with a toy mouse and often finds a private sleeping location away from the other kitties.  We believe she would do fine as a single cat.   When she crawls on your lap she is affectionate and her purr is amazing.

Vegas is a very smart little girl.  Watch the attached video and you will see how she figured out how to put her paw under the foster room door and pull it towards her so she and her foster friends could escape.
