Meryl grew up in a home, but was not spayed and allowed to reproduce along with some other cats in the home.  Things got out of control and Sheltering Hands stepped in to help Meryl and some of her house mates find forever homes.  Meryl is playful and affectionate once she knows you but often skittish with strangers.  She seems to like being held and purrs to show her enjoyment.  She loves chasing toy balls around the house and may even bring one to you to throw.  

Volunteer Update:  Meryl is a beautiful girl who has come a long way since we first met her.  She is outgoing and friendly and loves attention from anyone who is willing to give it.
