Hi, I'm April!

I was originally found wandering around with my sisters - May and August - but now I am here at Sheltering Hands.  I'm still young and am learning to trust being around people so many think I am feisty.  I want to love and be loved though.  It will just take some time.  My foster mom was awesome!  I loved spending time with her and, if you're as cat savvy as she was with me, we will be besties in no time.

Volunteer Update:  The hustle and bustle of sheltering living is not April's cup of tea.  When things are quiet she will come down and enjoy some laptime with her favorite volunteers.  Give her a chance and your heart will be rewarded the minute she trusts you enough to crawl in your lap.

Since Sheltering Hands home delivers each adopted cat, all adopters must live in the North Central Florida area.  Thank you for understanding.
