Hi I’m Woody, I was struggling to survive outside on my own. I am very lucky that someone noticed I was very friendly and contacted Sheltering Hands. At the shelter I am known as the “surveillance cat”. I love getting up high and just keeping an eye on everything that is going on. I would love a home with a high cat climb so I continue my surveillance. Volunteer Update: Woody is a different cat from the one that first came to Sheltering Hands. He still likes high places but not to avoid attention. now he likes to get at eye level to get all the petting and love that he can. Foster Update: Woody recently spent some time at my house. Since he had never been in a home before there were several things that gave him pause. It took him about a day to get used to the TV and toilets flushing and ice dropping from the icemaker. At first I had to sit quietly and say his name to get him to come to me but once he did, he loved the attention and made cute air biscuits with his feet. A month into his stay he is easy going, gets a long great with other fosters and loves sleeping on the bed. To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here: www.shelteringhands.org/info/adoption.
