Hi I’m Gloria! My owner died recently and I had no where to go.  Fortunately Sheltering Hands stepped up and is working to find me a new furever home.  I’ll admit I’m having a hard time adjusting, but I’m just scared.  If you give me a chance you will find out I am a sweet gentle girl who just wants a new home with a place to hide until I can build my confidence

Volunteer Update:  Gloria has made some wonderful gains since she came to Sheltering Hands, At first all she wanted to do was hide and sometimes growled if you wanted to pet her.   Now she comes out during the day and walks around.  She is still hesitant about people, but has certainly made friends with some of the staff and volunteers.  We are confident she would make even more progress in a home with some time and patience.
