Hi, I'm Galaxy! True to my name, I'm a girl who likes to go where no cat has gone before.  I'm not afraid to run in and explore new places. I have been with Sheltering Hands since I was a kitten and really want to find my forever home. I try hard to get noticed, but so far no luck. I will sit in your lap, talk to you in little blrrps and chirps, purr in your ear, look you in the eye, and play with the toys you offer.  What else can I do to entice you to take me home?  Recently, I had the opportunity to live in a foster home for a short while, and I LOVED it.  I will follow you everywhere (even the bathroom), talk to you in quiet kitty meows, and curl up next you on the couch or bed.  I am an outgoing social kitty who wants to love and be loved.  I'm a confident little "tail-up" girl who will entertain you and make you laugh. 

Foster Update: Galaxy spends her day searching for things to play with or taking naps close to her person.  She also wants to spend all night in bed with you.  She gets a long great with other cats.  She is not afraid to run into an area where she has not been.  Could be a bit of an escape artist in the right situation.
