Hi my name is Jareth, I was born outside to a feral mom, that was being fed by a wonderful family. My mom was killed by a wild animal but I knew this kind family would take feed me and care for me. When I got hurt and my leg was hanging by a few tendons, I knew that I had to get to that family for help. They rushed me to some of the best doctors around and I thanked them with lots of affection. Once I was stable, Sheltering Hands amputated my leg. It was so great not to have to deal with that painful leg that I immediately started walking around and climbing in my cage. I am now ready for adoption as a tripod. I may seem a little shy at first, but scratch my head and keep petting me and I will melt in your arms. I may be considered special needs because of my injury, but that doesn't stop me from being a sweet active kitty. To schedule a meet/greet with this pawsome kitty, we recommend that you complete a Pre-Adoption Application which is available here: https://www.shelteringhands.org/adoptionapplication. For additional information, email our Adoptions Team at adoptions@shelteringhands.org. Once applications are approved the Adoptions Team will coordinate the best way for you to get your new furry family member and bring them home.
