Hello, my name is  Pele. I came to Sheltering Hands after my beloved owner passed away. It's been a big change for me, but I'm slowly finding my footing again. I have the cutest, quirkiest little meow that always makes people smile. I adore catnip, and I'll never say no to a tasty treat! That said, I'm not really into the whole "dogs and other cats" thing - and I'm not a fan of those unpredictable little humans, either. The folks at the shelter say I'm funny, unique, and definitely a cat with personality. I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful home where I can adjust on my terms. Once I feel safe and settled, I'll be happy to share your space, maybe even your bed, and just be the cat I was meant to be. I'm a mature beauty who's aged gracefully, and I still have so much love to give. I just need someone with the patience and experience to understand me.
